About Pebble Shore Travel

Hi there, I’m Rachel, owner of Pebble Shore Travel. I started my Travel Journey way back in Puerto Pollensa, Majora as a Children’s Overseas Rep before moving to working in the skies from Manchester Airport. Cabin Crew had always been my dream job growing up and I loved every minute of my time flying. After moving to live in Cape Town, South Africa for several years we moved back to the UK & I started working as a homeworker for Independent Travel Experts in 2014.

Having a young family at the time really helped me to get that work / life balance, especially in the summer holidays. I was invited to be part of the Disney Specialist Homeworking Team within ITE & shortly after promoted to Disney Business Development Manager, working closely with the Disney Team at Disney HQ in Hammersmith, London & delivering training to other homeworkers at Independent Travel Experts.

After the pandemic I decided to take the jump and take Pebble Shore Travel to the high street. I opened the shop in Scarborough Market Hall and WOW what a few years it has been.
